Introducing Open Bionics first PCB control board for use in the Ada robotic hand and also compatible with the Dextrus v2.0 robotic hand. The board is capable of controlling up to 6 Firgelli actuators simultaneously, with an Atmega2560 at it's core (Pre-Loaded with an Arduino Bootloader).
The small footprint allows the PCB to be fitted within the Open Bionics Ada hand. The board is fitted with a UART to USB bridge allowing for programming over USB and for serial debugging.
The board has its own power management for the control system, and actuators run directly from the DC input, allowing different voltages to be used if desired.
The PCB features a 4-pole 3.5mm Jack for communication to external sensors. This connection can be configured in software for either I2C or Analogue sensor input. By connecting two exposed pads it can also be used for UART communication.
The board boasts nine additional broken out pins from the ATmega2560 allowing for extra hardware modifications.

This product is designed for Open Bionics hand kits but could be used in any control application that requires up to 6 firgelli PQ12 linear actuators and a small control board.
